How to Improve Your Google Rankings Fast:
9 Steps to Rank Higher Using Analytics …
Go to your Google Analytics website dashboard. In the left side bar, under Acquisition, click “Search Console” to show a drop-down where you will select “Queries”.
This report will show you all of the phrases that you rank for, the number of times that you appeared in search engines, the number of clicks you got from that ranking and your average ranking for each one of those phrases. We want to filter this report to see the phrases that you almost rank high.
Do this by clicking on the “advanced” link next to the search bar. In the next window, next to the include button, click the arrow beside “Query” and from the drop-down list select “Average Position”. Then, next to the Greater than select button in the field type “10” and click the Apply button.
What this will do is show you that if you rank higher than 10, then you don’t really rank on page one in search engine. Now, click the Average Position, twice, to sort least to greatest values.
Once you have done that, scroll down the list of phrases to find the phrases over 10 that are relevant to your business. Copy that phrase and paste into the search engine to validate it.
